I got invited to go partake of some poker the other day, which is always a nice gesture if you want to lose a little money. The host of this little get together has one of my Texas Hold Em poker table tops and had it set up on his dining room table, which his wife loves!
I got their a bit early to watch set up and see how this fine table top looked in real life. I have to say it was not too bad. I liked it well enough, though I would rather play poker at my house, but sometimes you have to make a few sacrifices to play poker. I asked how many people were playing tonight, he said there would be 10 people there as he pulled out his poker chip set, another one of my products. The poker chip set seemed a bit small for the number of people that were going to be sitting at the table, unless he planned on it being a short night.
I was willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that he did not have enough poker chips to cover ten people. The rest of the guys showed up, and we started to hand out the poker chips, and as we got closer to the tenth person the number of poker chips started to dwindle. Eventually, the poker chip situation was such that there were not enough poker chips for everyone and it was a short poker night.
To my friend and others out there that want to play Texas Hold Em at home, as a general rule, you should have 75-100 poker chips per person. That means my new poker buddy should have had a poker chip set that was about 3 times bigger than the one he had. Now, at Titan Cue and Table, we have poker chips sets that will accomodate up to 10 people or as small as 4 people, but know how many poker chips you have before you have a poker night. We have poker chip sets from 300 chip sets to 1000 chip sets and counts in between them. Look at our selection, we have picked the most popular brands and styles of poker chip sets, pick the set the best suits your tastes and needs today.
